In the storyline of our Latin textbook, Who Said Latin’s Dead, the protagonists must travel to Vindolanda and enter in contact with the Roman soldiers stationed at Hadrian’s Wall.

Nature is full of surprises and hidden gems, and this week Year 3 were amazed to discover how many different examples of wild animal patterns they could find in the arboretum.
On the morning of Thursday 2 May, all the boys in Year 3 arrived at school with quite a lot more equipment and much bigger bags than usual! They had made sure they had all the kit suggested for their overnight camping experience and some were really laden!
