18 boys sat for academic scholarships, with 11 of them successfully achieving either a full scholarship or an exhibition. 

With five Academic Scholarships and three Exhibitions to Winchester College, this surpasses last year’s highest total Elected in Pilgrims’ history.  In addition to these, one boy was Elected as a King’s Scholar to Eton, one to St Paul’s, the second year in a row we have had a scholar here, and finally one to King Edward’s School, Southampton. 

6 boys celebrated musical success with four Scholarships - one each to Winchester College, Harrow, Sherborne and Churchers, and 2 Exhibitions – one to Eton and one to Winchester College.  1 boy also achieved a Drama Scholarship to Bradfield College.

Winchester Entrance and Common Entrance, again saw 100% pass rates with some extremely strong performances.  All 15 candidates for Winchester Entrance confirmed their entry to the College with impressively strong grades across the board, followed by the Common Entrance cohort, which saw 16 boys sit CE, joining schools including Bedales, Bradfield, Canford, Charterhouse, Eton, Harrow, King Edward’s, Kingston Grammar, Marlborough and Sherborne.  Included in this group were boys recognised by Sherborne, Harrow and Charterhouse for their strong, all-round performances in their final exams.

Finally, a small cohort of Year 6 boys sat the 11+ for local day schools, with 100% success rate. In addition to this academic success, one Year 6 leaver was also awarded a music scholarship to Churchers
