A themed lunch will start the celebrations on Monday, while on Tuesday writer AF Harrold will meet all pupils from Reception to Year 8 over three workshops. More about AF below.

Eight Pilgrims' ranked in the top 250 of the Townsend-Warner History Prize, Round 1
Great conversations were held at the Book Club Cake Breaks this week. The pupils who attended revealed great insights; the ability to understand and reflect on the stories they read, making connections with the world that surrounds them. These are wonderful skills to hone in the very relaxed setting of the Cake Break - not to mention the mouth-watering cake (vanilla sponge with a delicious topping this week).

We present: The Tower of London Schools' Coronation Competition by the Historic Royal Palaces - this is a fantastic opportunity to be involved. Design a chair for the Coronation!
Year 5 took on the mammoth task of performing their adaptation of Macbeth.
Year 4 have been learning all about solubility and came up with some questions they wanted to answer.
From above, Planet Ice, the location of last Sunday’s boarding trip, is reminiscent of a frozen winter lake with confused fowl circulating round and round and round and round trying to make sense of their new surroundings on the ice.
