In this week’s Thursday Reflection, pupils were discussing the ways we create and use food. They considered questions such as, how might we improve food production and decrease food waste? How can we improve the energy efficiency of food production and reduce the damage it causes the environment? Pupils were encouraged to think about how we could waste less food and ideas were forwarded to the eco-committee to discuss. Finally, pupils watched, ‘Can we create the perfect farm?’ A TED-ed video by Brent Lokan (available here.)
