Forest School
Year 3 took part in a tree hugging activity this week in an exercise to develop their senses.
After spending time gaining the trust and confidence of their partner, the boys were carefully led to a chosen tree with their eyes closed. Once there, they were asked to get to know their tree, feeling the bark, the texture and the shape of the tree. They were then led away from the tree, the boys opened their eyes and were asked to use all their senses to try and find out which tree they had been taken to.
I was most impressed with how well the boys did, and most boys managed to find their trees again.
