Year 6 and 7 each enjoyed a day of activities on the water at The Watersports Academy in Sandbanks, Bournemouth. It was a real treat for the boys to spend time with their friends, sharing fun times on a kayak, a paddleboard or a wind surf. Some were slightly put off by the seaweed at the water's edge initially, but within seconds they were onto a perfect sandy bed and able to thoroughly participate without ever going out of their depth. After building a raft of paddleboards, the boys climbed aboard before splashing back into the sea and having a competition to see who could stand on their paddleboard the longest, while wobbling it to unbalance their opponent! Some boys were very impressive, showing off their windsurfing abilities and everyone looked like they'd had a great day out! Thank you, Mr Reid, for organising this super day of watersports.
