There were even some special guest appearances, and the boys were very excited to see Mr Hammond serving refreshments at the half-way mark.

All the proceeds from this year's walk will go towards the Murray Parish Trust, which support children's emergency services across the south of England.

The weather played along beautifully on the day, and we could not have hoped for a more festive atmosphere. 

We wish to thank all who participated, and to say a special word of enormous thanks to Mrs Anne Kelly for making most of the arrangements for the walk itself. We are very grateful.  We are also hugely indebted to the PPA for arranging the Fete afterwards, which was a lot of fun.
