The boarders 'All In' first weekend
Well done to all boarders, young and old, experienced and new, as we enjoyed our first weekend at school - the 'All In'. The staff have really enjoyed getting to know all the boarders, which has really been helped with these first, immersive, few days.
Following the school Football Festival on Saturday, the boarders enjoyed various activities such as swimming, the adventure playground and Grid games. Meanwhile, the Qs had the Goddard Service as term at the College began, and the Cs were involved in the Cathedral Foundation Welcome service.
Sunday saw the main event - Paultons Park for a hoot hoot. Cs and Qs high-tailed it over at the conclusion of their morning choral commitments. Everyone ran around the park, getting on all the rides. There was no queueing required, with the morning's poor weather putting off the less hardy.
Certainly, new friendships formed as we had fun together. By the evening, we were all pooped, but what a day it had been!
