'The Lighting of the Kingsgate Lights' took place to the beautiful sounds of the Pilgrims' Chamber Choir. The usual festive cheer was warmly felt amongst the Kingsgate community, as everyone huddled under the arch of St Swithun-upon-Kingsgate Church. The tree was blessed, and the countdown began before the lights were switched on to everyone's cheer and delight. Christmas really does feel like it is on its way!
