Boarders' first weekend in
For the first weekend back after Christmas, it felt like we still needed to hibernate a bit, so it was a case of relaxing with hot chocolate on Saturday night.
The next morning, the boarders enjoyed playing on the Grid and in the Priory before we headed off to support the Choristers at Eucharist in the Cathedral. The clergy and other members of the congregation really enjoyed seeing us there, and we all thought the Choristers sang really well.
Afterwards, it was back to school for lunch - roast chicken and all the trimmings - and then off to Andover to watch Sonic the Hedgehog 3 - a powerhouse of special effects accompanied by a storyline. Nevertheless, the boarders certainly enjoyed it, as well as the preceding quick stop in next door's ASDA to stock up on film-watching treats! Then, we headed back to school for supper and to get ready for the week ahead.
We all enjoyed the relaxing weekend easing us into the term ahead.
