After breakfast, we all grabbed our coats and walked into Winchester to shop for decorations. Each boy was given money of their own to spend and was asked to provide receipts at the end to encourage basic money handling skills.

We visited Pret-a-Manager for a hot chocolate before dispersing into groups to grab some festive bargains! Once back at school, the boys enjoyed a range of arts and craft activities; making reindeer cards from lollipop sticks and Christmas trees from pipe cleaners and fluffy balls too!

After lunch, they decorated the school dining room tree and then their own dorms. Some downtime and a Christmas movie then followed. And then, after supper the senior boys took part in a Christmas-themed quiz, which seamlessly brought us to the end of a wonderful day. Thank you to Mr Lingard and Mr Greenwood for all their help.
