Year 5 trip to Horseshoe Lake, Surrey
Year 5 had an excellent day out, with kayaking and Stand Up Paddle-boarding in the morning (a chance to soak their new tutors!), and raft-building and dragon-boat racing in the afternoon.
I was really impressed with the spirit in which the boys undertook these activities, with the whole year group eager to try new activities. The boys worked extremely well together as a team, and it was great to see them work in groups that spanned right across the year group. It is a new Pilgrims' tradition to have this sort of trip at the start of Year 5, and it will be interesting to see how the year group builds on this during their residential trip in the Summer term. Well done, all.
