It's been an exciting week here in the Pre-Prep filled with moments of joy, discovery, and learning for our boys.
As we rapidly approach the last few weeks of term, I am amazed at how much we have managed to fit into these last few weeks, with this week being no exception. What an amazing week all round.
Empathy can be a rather difficult word for the Pre-Prep, but it has provided a foundation this week for discussion, especially relevant during National Empathy week.
The Pre-Prep has had a busy yet enjoyable week despite the rainy weather and the boys remained resilient and happy throughout!
This last week of half-term has been a busy week where every year group has had some very special times at school, with lots of ‘extras’ in addition to their normal daily events. From the vibrant Chinese New Year celebrations and delicious lunch, to even having a dragon visit! The boys were in awe, commenting on how “cool” it was.
Firstly, I wanted to say a huge thank you to all the boys that participated in the Big Garden Birdwatch last weekend. There were a variety of birds spotted, and a few of those cheeky squirrels!
After our Pre-Prep open morning today, I took a step back and thought how good it is to reflect on the journey that our boys are on and to take time to acknowledge the development and progress that each individual is making.
It has been a fantastic week in the Pre-Prep. Despite the distinct chill in the air, the children have settled back in excellent spirits, enjoying the fresh frosty grounds!
