"Half the group headed off to the lake for kayaking and raft building this morning, and the other half stayed at the centre to do high-ropes, team building and archery. Tonight is wide-games up on the moor."

Wednesday
"Greetings from a beautifully sunny Devon today. 
A last minute problem (transportation difficulties) meant that we had a late change to today’s schedule, and the day on the moor (including the infamous bog run) has been delayed until tomorrow. Instead, the boys got the reverse of yesterday – some went to the lake and some stayed at the centre and did lots of climbing. This has worked out well as the two days at the lake have both been sunny, which is great. With drizzle forecast for tomorrow, there is no doubt that it will be a challenging day on the moors, but the boys will enjoy the challenge I am sure, and the rain will help to wash off the mud!"

Thursday
"A bit of a tough day this one, but the kind of day that these trips are made for! The boys needed to show significant positivity and resilience! It was wet and cold up on the moor, but the vast majority of the morning bog run group wanted to press on, whilst the other half completed their climb and abseil. At lunchtime, conditions had deteriorated enough to force us to re-evaluate plans, with most coming back to the centre. However, much credit to the 7 who chose to press on and completed the bog run with Mr Cleaver in the afternoon!

We hope the rain will pass over enough for us to enjoy our last night by the campfire; tomorrow morning is the Olympics, followed by jumping on the coach around lunchtime to return to school."
