The results were fantastic with some really imaginative and creative artwork. Last September we started to carry out some experiments using bouncy balls, ping-pong balls and various surfaces to bounce and roll them on and along, as well as stretching socks, flying home-made helicopters; seeing how easy it was to tear various different materials.

Then we moved on to push and pull forces, gravity and friction, magnetism and now we are looking at ‘MRS GREN’ – a mnemonic used to remember the processes all living things must carry out. Next week they will be back to some rigorous learning, but they have all enjoyed designing their posters!
