Year 3 Forest School
Inspired by the legend of ‘The Green Man’, which is viewed as a symbol of rebirth and new growth, the boys were given the opportunity of creating their own clay sculptures.
Typically, ‘The Green Man’ is an architectural symbol found on many ecclesiastical buildings, and is represented as a face surrounded by leaves, vines and small twigs. The boys took on board this information and used natural resources imaginatively to create their own versions of this symbol.
