Whilst I practise the music to deliver a polished performance, it has made me reflect on the high standards I have always expected from the boys at Pilgrims’. They never fail to impress me with their dedication and hard work. Making music with your boys every day has been one of the true highlights of my time here, and their individual talents are extraordinary. Never take it for granted just how wonderful this is. 

As the Pilgrims’ community come together on Wednesday afternoon, I wish to extend my thanks to you all for the support I have received during my 13 years. There is an undeniable strength in this community who have supported me and my family, and this will never be forgotten. 

Finally, a message for all the boys, both past and present:

You are the heart of Pilgrims’! I thank you all for your hard work, humour, talents and strength of character. I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a well-deserved break.
