The first match was a low scoring affair, with Normans coming out on top vs Romans, 100-50.  The second match, between Saxons and Wrens, was a bit of a ding-dong. Wrens started very strongly and had a fair lead at half-time.  However, a near perfect second half from Saxons saw them fight back, ending as comfortable winners, 150-80.

The ‘Which Pilgrims’ boy?’ and ‘Which Pilgrims’ member of staff?’ questions again proved popular (e.g. 'which Pilgrims’ member of staff is good at lifting things? Mr Armstrong!').  Some superb contributions from the crowd showed the depth of quizzing knowledge at Pilgrims’; the only problem for the quiz master was attempting to control some of the spectators when they became overexcited!
