The preparations, band rehearsals and hard work of all involved paid off in more than one way. Everyone looked as though they were thoroughly enjoying a marvellous evening of music, food and great company - the rain dampened no spirits. Alongside this, a phenomenal amount was raised for the charity, Amazing Alice. £3,455 will go to Amazing Alice to help families of children suffering with cancer to create long-lasting memories.

The bands had everyone moving, from toes tapping to the most energetic dancing. Boy bands, girl bands, leavers' bands to parent bands - we were so lucky to be entertained by such talented musicians!

Huge thanks must go to all the organisers, helpers and performers, especially our PPA Chair, Anna and her team, including the dynamic duo, Sarah and Deborah. Many thanks also go to Chris Burton and staff members who gave up much of their time to make this a truly memorable event.
