As I write, the weather is turning more autumnal after a glorious spell of sunshine. It’s been great to see the boys returning with an enthusiasm for sport.

Across PE & Games, we have been on the football pitches, in the pool and using the Grid for court games. And that’s without the array of co-curricular activity.  For the new soccer season, we have been re-familiarising ourselves with FA guidelines. Many will be familiar with the move to age-banded small-sided games designed to increase participation and skill levels. Fixtures against Ludgrove, Stroud, Woodcote, Westbourne and Moulsford and under 9 and 10 festivals have been successful -  and I’m not necessarily talking about results; what happens off the pitch is just as important.
