This week the boys in Reception enjoyed meeting Harold the Giraffe in the SCARF inflatable classroom to find out about themselves and their bodies. They learned how to keep healthy on the inside with the help of water, fruits, vegetables and foods for energy as well as taking regular exercise and a good night’s sleep. The boys enjoyed naming some important organs such as the heart, lungs, stomach, and large and small intestines whilst finding out where these belong inside the body and what they do.

Golden Time this week was shared with Year 1, and the first signs of autumn gave us lots of beautiful leaves to make our 'leaf men' in Forest School.
