The enthusiasm and energy were palpable with free time in the evenings filled with scooter rallies, penalty shoot-outs, and an inordinate amount of table tennis.  Undoubtedly the highlight of the boys' taster stay (closely followed by the array of options for supper) was spending time in the dorms with their new roommates and playing with their new friends in the house.  Alpine at Q School and Sports and Tintin at Main School became boarding sanctuaries filled with the sound of lots of laughter (which was later followed by snores!) and the lovely sight of bedtime stories being eagerly devoured.  One Year 3 boy asked the next morning, “Do the boarders have this much fun all of the time?” Of course they do!
