Excursion to Finkley Down Farm
Finally, Summer seems to have arrived. This allowed the boarders to play a lovely ’test match’ on the quad last weekend, without rain affecting play!
Following the hefty school roast lunch, we ventured down the A303 to Finkley Down Farm, and wow, what a wonderful afternoon we had! From the moment we arrived, excitement was in the air. The boys were thrilled to meet and feed the farm animals, from cuddly rabbits to curious goats. The indoor play barn was a perfect escape from the sun, with slides and soft play areas keeping the boys entertained, excited, and active. Outdoors, the adventure playground was a highlight, especially the ‘Farmula 1’ where the boys could drive adapted go-karts around a track. Upon return to school, the boys took advantage of the warm weather and the warm pool by having a well-deserved relaxing swim before their evening meal – how very civilised!
