We had sandcastles, cricket, we had pool games with some crazy inflatables and the most entertaining dance-off in the Pilgrims’ Hall I’ve ever seen (it’s been noted that this activity will return in the future). The boys were smiling, the ketchup was being squirted over hot takeaway fish and chips, the sun was shining, and Cornetto’s were icy cool and refreshing on such a warm summer’s evening. It is a pleasure on such occasions where the staff are having just as much fun as the boys and that certainly was the case on Wednesday evening. A thank you to Sam, Sue, Kim, Jen and Jack for making and serving such delicious food with a smile and, of course, our wonderful boarding staff. Also, to Mr Leslie for organising the event, Mr Rainer, Mr Cleaver, Mr Armstrong, Mrs Beaumont, Miss Higham and all four of our wonderful Gaps. As always, without your commitment, we could not give the extra. The boys are already thinking up what theme could be next.
