How to make a Diva
Over the past few days, the Year 1 boys have harnessed their creative skills and made their own Diva lamps as part of our learning about the festival, Diwali.
The boys enjoyed learning the story of Rama and Sita which helped them to develop their understanding of why these lamps are such an important part of Diwali celebrations. Using salt dough, each boy carefully crafted his own lamp, then painted and decorated it considering traditional colours, patterns and decorative styles, producing beautiful results!
