Yesterday our Set Captains and other boys went out during activities and replaced the old plants with lots of lovely new ones! These planters were gifts from the PPA last year, and they have created a lovely greener playground, but we learnt that plants also take looking after and need regular attention.

I also discovered that some plants can take up a lot of space and take over a planter, so we took out these plants to be put in a bigger space. I now know that it is good to have a range of summer and winter plants so that there is green and colour all year round.

The sets will continue to look after our planters and watch them grow. I am looking forward to seeing the tulips grow in Spring!
