Promotional Photo Shoot fun
This week we invited a professional photographer into school to take some new promotional shots for marketing purposes. Find out what the boys got up to.
On Monday, the weather was on our side for our professional photo shoot, after being postponed twice.
We started the day by the river with Oliver and Teddy from the Pre-Prep excitedly looking through nets at the weeds and wildlife they'd caught. We then headed to the Dean's Garden, where Finn sat reading Paddington Bear with Theo and Samuel kicking a ball around behind them.
Ahead of time, we brought a shot forward from the afternoon, with Zachary exploring plants in the science lab. Tracking the boys down for the fourth shot was slightly harder as it was during breaktime, but eventually we lined Sam, Patrick, Will and Jacob for a shot of them singing with the Chorister cloaks behind them. Mr Burton helped get the mood right by serenading the boys with 'You've got a friend in me'.
We then progressed to The Pilgrims' Hall where Farid and Edward stood confidently side by side at the grand piano. After a quick lunch break we headed out to Wolvesvey where Rio, Benjy and Charlie had the tough task of getting a rugby shot right - tricky throwing and catching a ball at exactly the right time and with the school logo facing the right way! After a few takes, we got what we were after.
The last two shots of the day took place in the main boarding house and then the yard. Edward and Marek quickly changed into their home clothes and shared their moment in the spotlight with a robot, and then Casper and Louis inquisitively explored a globe.
Well done to all boys who were photographed. They took direction well and showed great patience.
Thanks to Milly and Lucian from Brightful. We look forward to seeing the results soon.
