Julian's success follows a number of other scholarships awarded earlier in the year: academic awards to Canford, Radley (the Sewell award for top scholar), and Sherborne; music awards to Eton, Winchester College, Sherborne, and Magdalen College School; an art scholarship to Canford; a sports exhibition to Winchester College; and an all-rounder award to Sherborne.

Headmaster Tom Burden praised all the award winners. “Hard working and able boys are a large part of this success story, but talent needs moulding, and that requires dedicated and inspiring teachers.  Boy and home and school all work together to produce individual success.”
