Welcome back to the Pre-Prep!

From Mrs Hall

Welcome to a brand-new year! It has been a fantastic first few days of 2025 in the Pre-Prep. Despite the distinct chill in the air, the boys have returned in excellent spirits, ready to embrace all that this term has in store.

The start of the term has already brought a sense of excitement and enthusiasm as we settle back into routines and welcome new learning adventures. The boys have been reconnecting with their friends and teachers, sharing stories from their holidays, and diving into their activities with remarkable energy. It’s heartening to see their smiles and hear their laughter echoing through the classrooms and playground once more.

Looking ahead, we have an exciting calendar of events and opportunities planned for the term. Please keep an eye out for updates, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or ideas to share.

I look forward to all that this new year has to offer and to sharing many memorable moments with you and your sons.

Have a lovely weekend.

Reception

Welcome back to the Lent term in Reception Class. I hope that you have all had an enjoyable Christmastime with your families. It has been lovely to hear about the boys' varied holidays. After just two days, the boys have settled quickly back into school life.

The first half of this term will focus upon 'Winter Wonders'.  We have already been exploring the Arctic Circle and looking at the weather, features and types of animals that live there.

As part of our class challenge for this term, the boys are working with Miss Whitmore to create an igloo out of empty milk bottles in our role play area.  They have already made a great start! If you have any 2 or 4 pint empty plastic milk bottles we could use for our igloo, so please do bring them in.  Many thanks in advance.
