Please welcome our brand-new GAP students to Pilgrims'! Recruited back in March 2024, they have all been finishing their final academic studies at their respective schools and are now taking a year out to work with us here at Pilgrims' and to travel around Europe in the school holidays.

Isaac joins us from The Shore School in Sydney. Isaac’s main sport is rugby, having captained his school team and played at regional level, so he will be a great help as soon as he arrives, as our rugby term begins in earnest. Isaac also enjoys competitive swimming, fishing and golf (all of which we do here at Pilgrims') so he will no doubt also be a great help across the wider programme of sports and activities. He also enjoys surf/life-saving and is a qualified swimming teacher. Welcome, Isaac!

Jess joins us from The Monte School in Sydney. Jess’ main competitive sport is hockey, so she will be supporting me in developing our hockey programme, following Ally’s departure last term. Jess plays touch rugby, which will really help us in her first term here, as well as water polo and she is a keen cross-county runner. She also loves dance, theatre and choral; perfect for a Choir and LAMDA School! Jess has teaching assistant experience, so the wider school, I think, may soon be using her diverse range of skills in due course! Welcome, Jess!

Charlie joins us from Scots College, Sydney. Charlie’s main sport is football, but he has also played rugby. Outside these main sports, he rows, plays golf, basketball and runs; a wonderful mix for what we do here. He is also a passionate percussionist, so he will soon be on Mr du Plessis and Miss Willcocks’ radars in our music department! Welcome, Charlie!

Meg joins us from St Margaret’s School, Brisbane. She is a keen touch rugby player, so she will be a wonderful addition to our non-contact programme. Meg also loves athletics, softball, rowing, cross-country and basketball, so she too brings a wonderful range of skills and abilities to the school. Meg has experience of working with children with special educational needs, so I am hoping her time at Pilgrims' will also enrich the lives of the boys in this area too. Welcome, Meg!

Parents: please say hello if you see them around the school and make them feel the Pilgrims’ welcome’.
