Yesterday, our talented Choristers had the unique opportunity to perform aboard Cunard’s Queen Victoria, adding a touch of festive spirit to the start of the ship’s Mediterranean cruise.

The event marked a joyful occasion for both the performers and the passengers, creating a memorable holiday atmosphere.

The Choristers were welcomed aboard with exceptional hospitality. Upon arrival, they were ushered to a private waiting room where a delicious lunch was served, allowing them to relax and prepare for their performances. Under the expert direction of Sara Wilson-King and Oliver Morrell from Winchester Cathedral, the boys gave two outstanding carol performances in the stunning ‘Queen's Room.’ The elegant venue was packed with passengers, who were excited to embark on their holiday journey. The music filled the room with warmth and joy, setting the tone for the festive passage ahead.

After the performances, the Choristers had the chance to explore the impressive ship. During a short tour, they asked the crew a series of thoughtful questions, learning more about the ship’s features and the experience of life at sea. The boys were fascinated by the ship’s design, and their curiosity added an extra layer of enjoyment to the visit.

Before disembarking, the Choristers expressed their heartfelt thanks to the crew and passengers for their warm reception. As the group left the ship, they reflected on what had been a truly special and festive afternoon, one that will undoubtedly remain a cherished memory for all involved.
