Boarders' excursion to the Ten Pin Bowling Alley
Our weekend boarders had a fabulous time recently testing their skills at Ten Pin in Southampton.
All the boys were well-set for the afternoon following one of Pilgrims' legendary Sunday lunches and, suitably fortified, they hit the lanes with some energy and excitement. Meanwhile, Mr Lingard, Miss Shedden and Mr Leslie tried to keep up.
The bowling centre has recently been refurbished and the boys were delighted to be able to add their own selfies to their live scorecards - some pictures were more aesthetically pleasing than others, and you can imagine it all got a bit silly! Bowling styles were quite varied too, with some going for smooth, some for accuracy, some for sheer speed and others simply unique.
Whatever the approach, all the boys and staff had a ball (sorry about that) at Ten Pin.
