They have completed an experiment in every lesson, identifying variables, thinking about controls and recording their own results. 

This has included testing the 'bounciness' of balls, testing paper helicopter flight, and seeing how different surfaces affect how far a tennis ball will roll.  We have been thoroughly impressed with how they are 'working scientifically' to make predictions and draw valid conclusions.  

Well done, Year 3. It is going to be an exciting year of Science ahead!
