LAMDA Students Give an Impressive Performance

The LAMDA Showcase is a platform for boys taking private drama lessons to deliver their exam pieces to an audience, sometimes for the first time. Thank you to all the parents who came to support us.

On Friday 28 June, the Pilgrims’ Hall was filled with pride and excitement as our LAMDA students took to the stage in front of a large audience. Boys from Year 2 to Year 8 showcased their talents in two wonderful sessions, performing a variety of poems, monologues, and duologues.

The event was a testament to the hard work and dedication of our boys. Despite initial nerves, the boys performed with remarkable enthusiasm, confidence, and maturity. Each piece was individually interpreted, allowing the boys to express their creativity and unique talents. They spoke clearly, fluently, and expressively, capturing the audience's attention and entertaining everyone present.

For many, this was the first time they had performed in front of a large audience; they overcame their fears and gained valuable stage experience. The event provided a great opportunity for the boys to share their performances, not only with their parents, but also with each other, fostering a supportive and encouraging environment.

We are incredibly proud of our LAMDA students and their achievements and congratulate all the boys on their outstanding performances.
