Year 8 at Campfire Wild Adventures
The Year 8 continued their Leavers' programme in the beautiful grounds of the Wormsley Estate this week, where they were immersed in a unique learning experience. They learnt a wide variety of camping and bushcraft skills, from how to put up and pack away tents to camouflaging successfully.
Throughout the camp, the students were actively involved in various outdoor activities and made the most of the hot and sunny weather under the beautiful tree canopies. The sleep-out night was particularly exciting, with the forest coming alive with the sounds of campfires and wildlife - an experience that Mr Orr thoroughly enjoyed!
We extend our thanks to the Campfire Wild Adventure company for ensuring our boys had a successful and well-fed experience. I also want to acknowledge the efforts of our staff, Mr Cuyler, Mrs Beaumont, Miss de Ambrosis, and Miss Doyle, whose time, humour, and energy made this camp a truly memorable experience for our boys.
The camp photographs are available to parents via the usual link to the Leavers' programme photographs, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them.
