Dear friends of Pilgrims',
As we start the second half of the Christmas term, it's time to reflect upon what has just passed before us.
In the first half of term, the School buzzed nicely, and I am delighted with how things went. There have been some momentous events (thinking particularly of the Queen’s funeral), some lovely Pilgrims’ occasions (such as the Harvest Service in Winchester Cathedral), some super sporting fixtures and excellent work from the PPA, our Pilgrims' Parents Association (what a great turn out for the coffee and bacon sandwiches at School on a Saturday morning).
We look forward to welcoming parents to our Pre-Prep Open Morning on Friday 25 November. This will provide the perfect opportunity to see the Pre-Prep in action and experience the wonderful atmosphere, rich in curiosity and enquiry. And if you are looking at a 2023 start date, why not register your son for a ‘Stay and Play’ one Tuesday during November. Contact Emma, our Registrar, if you’d like to book either event. Email admissions@pilgrims-school.co.uk.
In this newsletter you can read a couple of my recent articles, as well as stories about the School and its community.
