Message from the NHS Immunisation Team:
We will be coming to your school to deliver the Flu Vaccine Programme on Tuesday 22 November, as originally planned with your Nurses. However, the current guidance from NHS England is that we are to prioritise Primary age children first, and Secondary school Flu vaccines will be postponed until January 2023. This is due to a national vaccine supply issue.
Therefore, on 22 November we will be vaccinating children up to and including Year 6 only.
We will visit Year 7 and Year 8 in the new year, but for any children with medical conditions, where your GP may offer the Flu vaccine earlier, we would advise you to accept it.

Scholarships at Winchester College: an Invitation to parents
Andrew Shedden, Registrar of Winchester College, will present a meeting on Scholarships at Winchester College on Tuesday 4 October, at 1830 in the Octagon (the Yard gates will be on the code for the evening, so please use these to enter and exit). It is aimed at parents of boys in Year 6, 7 and 8 who are interested in Winchester College.
Andy will bring Dr Alex Latter with him, former Head of English and now Master in College (the Scholar’s house) with overall responsibility for the Academic Scholarship process; Sarah Baldock, Director of Music and Mark Burley, Director of Sport. Each will give some insight to the process of applying for Scholarship and some insight into what they are looking for.
To help with numbers, it would be very helpful if you could indicate your intention to attend (either in person or by Teams) by clicking Reply in the email sent to parents on Tuesday 27 September.
The meeting will also be streamed using this link.
